Ummanz

A 250m long bridge goes from right behind Mursewiek to the island which is 20km² in size. Ummanz at just three metres above see level is not only as flat as a flounder, it is also a real natural paradise. Around 20 different types of birds nest on Ummanz. In spring and autumn they are joined by the cranes and geese that find their resting areas in the Western Pomeranian and Ummanz National Park.
The main attractions of this region are its remoteness, originality and nature.
