Mönchgut

Rügen's most easterly peninsula, Mönchgut, is extremely varied: in the tightest of spaces you will find woods, hills, quiet bays, steep coastlines, sandy, wide beaches, lively bathing locations and isolated villages. There is a reason why Rügen is called a treasure trove. Mönchgut is part of the biosphere reserve of south east Rügen and a strangely changing balance between water and land, bathing fun on the beach and quiet villages in the hinterland, tourism and nature reigns.
